Palm Springs and the Palm Desert Areas are known for their hot springs, waterfalls and other natural attractions. In the winter months of December and January it is mid to late 70s and early 60s. Winter is cool, dry and partly cloudy in Desert Hot Springs, but summer is muggy, dry and mostly clear. Palm Springs is one of the best places in Southern California for sunbathers.
